The VerticalResponse integration allows you to easily import your VerticalResponse lists into NeverBounce and send the validation results back to VerticalResponse.

Getting Started

To get started with this integration, login to your NeverBounce dashboard and click “Add List” on the right of your dashboard. This will open a modal window displaying a list of integrations on the left.

If you have not used this integration before:

Under “Add Integration” you will see a list of possible integrations. Scroll or use the search bar at the bottom to find the integration you are looking for. Click on the VerticalResponse integration to open a dialog window. This will have you sign in using your credentials to connect your VerticalResponse account.

If you have already connected this integration:

Under “Current” you will see a list of the integrations you have connected. Click on the VerticalResponse integration to see a list of your clients.

Importing A List

After logging in with your VerticalResponse credentials, the window will close and NeverBounce will connect to your VerticalResponse account. After a few seconds you should see your VerticalResponse lists. Select one and click “Import List” to begin importing your list. Once imported, the list can be analyzed and validated just like an uploaded list.

Sending the results to VerticalResponse

Once you’ve completed validation, sending the results back to VerticalResponse is as easy as pressing ‘Export’. If this is your first time exporting results to VerticalResponse, we’ll attempt to create a custom field to store the result (neverBounceValidationResult).

In the event you don’t have a custom field slot available, you’ll receive an error informing you. If this happens you’ll need to free up two custom field slots and try again.

Disconnecting VerticalResponse

To disconnect VerticalResponse once you have it connected, click “Add List” from your dashboard. On the left you should see “VerticalResponse” listed under your current integrations. Hover over “VerticalResponse” until you see a red broken link icon to the right. Click on that icon and you will see disconnection instructions on the right.

You can also disconnect your account by navigating to the “Apps” page, selecting VerticalResponse, and following the disconnect instructions.

You can reconnect your VerticalResponse account anytime by following the instructions above.

FAQs

My import has been processing for a while, how long does it take? Why isn’t there a progress bar?

Importing can take several minutes for a few thousand contacts and upwards of an hour for larger numbers of contacts. Unfortunately, we are unable to provide a progress indicator as we are unable to retrieve the total number of contacts in a list until importing is completed.

I’m getting the following message while exporting: “You have exceeded the number of contacts you are entitled to by XX. Upgrade or reduce your list size to create more contacts." What does this mean?

Due to the way exporting results back to VerticalResponse, you’ll need to have enough space for the records as if they’re brand new records. If this happens, you can download the results instead of exporting and manually upload the file into your VerticalResponse dashboard.
