The iContact Pro integration allows you to easily import your iContact Pro lists into NeverBounce and send the validation results back to iContact Pro.
To get started with this integration, login to your NeverBounce dashboard and select “Import from iContact” from the “Add List” dropdown. This will open a dialog and attempt to connect to your iContact Pro account. If you haven’t connected your account yet, a dialog box will open requesting for iContact Pro Credentials.
After saving your iContact Pro credentials, NeverBounce will connect to your iContact Pro account. After a few seconds you should see your iContact Pro lists. Select one and click ‘Import’ to begin importing your list. Once imported the list can be analyzed and validated just like an uploaded list.
Sending the results to iContact Pro
Once you’ve completed validation, sending the results back to iContact Pro is as easy as pressing ‘Export to iContact Pro’. Clicking on ‘Export to iContact Pro’ will start the export process and the button will change to ‘Exported’. We’ll attempt to create a custom field named ‘neverBounceValidationResult’ to store the NeverBounce validation result (valid, invalid, disposable, catchall, and unknown).
Once the results are exported to iContact, you can always Re-export your list. This can be done by clicking on ‘Exported’ button and selecting ‘Re-export’ option.
My import has been processing for a while, how long does it take? Why isn’t there a progress bar?
Importing can take several minutes for a few thousand contacts and upwards of an hour for larger numbers of contacts. Unfortunately we are unable to provide a progress indicator as we are unable to retrieve the total number of contacts in a list until importing is completed.
I am unable to connect to my iContact Pro account. Why is that?
If you are having trouble in connecting with iContact, please make sure you have completed the following steps correctly:
- Register a application with iContact Pro and add proper Application Id in Neverbounce dialog. (Please view iContact Pro’s Help Doc for additional information regarding how to register a new application.)
- Make sure you enter the same username/password you entered while creating application in your iContact Pro account.

I am unable to see the NeverBounce validation results in my iContact Pro account. What should I do?
We store validation results in a custom field named ‘neverBounceValidationResult’. Within your iContact Pro account, you can always create segments based on the custom field. (Please view iContact’s Help Doc for additional information regarding how to create a segment.)
